Q: Who are you and why this website? A: The who part, I’m a Palestinian Canadian living in Montreal. I graduated from Concordia University with a bachelors degree in Computer Science. I’m working now in Montreal as an IT analyst. As for the why part: Naji al-Ali is one of the most creative and prominent artist across the Arab world. I made this website because I felt it was the least thing to do to show my appreciation and respect for such a creative and iconic artist whose artwork has lives on with us to this very day.
Q: Do you think it’s the right thing to do to make sales of some cartoonist drawings and “exploit” the Palestinian cause! “How dare you make a profit of ideas of a dead cartoonist?” “You sell out” etc… A: The Naji al-Ali online shop was created to promote the website and is only for promotional purposes. The shop and items are on sale are merely for your enjoyment and convenience not to make a living off of them.
Q: Why dont you make a website in Arabic version? A: When I started my efforts of researching Naji al Ali on the web. I found good website(s) in Arabic were dedicated to Naji life and death so i did not feel the need to just duplicate efforts then. Some have went offline since then so I 'm currently working on to go live very soon..

Q: Where was Naji al Ali buried? A: Naji al-Ali was buried in Brookwood Islamic Cemetery outside of London. You will find the complete address and opening hours at their webpage, the link was given above.
Q: I would like to buy one of Naji al-Ali's compilations BOOKS of cartoons in the original Arabic language , and If its possible to order these online.? A: You can find a list of books about Naji al Ali in the Book section. Unfortunetly I dont believe any of the publishing houses has yet an online store/shop where you can make a purchase on-line.
